Every once in a while a band appears, seemingly out of nowhere, with all of the right pieces in all of the right places. That illogically complete kind of brand new band that immediately demands to be taken seriously. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's DIVORCE. is one of those bands.
Though clearly influenced by classic emo bands like Braid and Jimmy Eat World, they have also masterfully blended catchy, ALMOST accessible drive, with deeply personal and emotional lyrics, not dissimilar to genre defining mid-'90s rock bands like Hum and Five-Eight.
