Specific Wonderland, Moonkisser's third one-sided 12" EP, finds the Portland trio continuing to push boundaries. While they still sit proudly in their particular combination of heavy and melodic, they have not spent the years since Summer's Fleeting Majesty sitting still. Their mastery of riffs and complex melodies has never been clearer or more impressive. The exploration of desperate, melancholy themes over some of the very best riffing in post-hardcore today, and absolutely crushing, driving percussion makes this six song EP significantly more impactful than its runtime would suggest possible.
