Two Stroke Search Engine - Time Well Spent CS

More a project than a band, Two Stroke Search Engine is a collaboration between Steve Seese and Kevin Johnson, two thirds of the criminally underrated mid-'00s Columbus, Ohio post-hardcore powerhouse Vicki Versus Vanessa.

What began as a solo home recording project to combat writer's block, ultimately turned into a fruitful long-distance creative partnership between multi-instrumentalist Seese and lyricist Johnson. Clocking in at nearly an hour, Time Well Spent is the epic-in-scope indie/alternative rock product of this collaboration, exploring themes of working-class identity, geopolitics, aging, and salads. Among many other things.

After enlisting the remaining third of the creative force behind Vicki Versus Vanessa to craft an incredible layout, we are very proud to present this project to the world on a very limited, hand-painted cassette.

Each copy of the cassette includes two of four stickers inspired by the lyrics to the songs, and a digital download code.
