• Image of Growing Stone - I Had Everybody Snowed LP

Growing Stone, the long-running but often slumbering solo project of Skylar Sarkis, of Taking Meds and Who Decides, is undoubtedly a quieter and more reflective and introspective outlet than the aforementioned bands. But somehow bears all of the same emotional intensity, and unique capacity to impact.

Somber, melancholy music, in vein of songwriters like Mark Kozelek, Crooked Fingers or Smog, but swarming with dark, dirty, complicated narratives, reminiscent of early Craig Finn material. This might not be heavy or noisy, but it sure as hell isn't easy to listen to. Turn out the lights, and steel yourself against the coming flood of heartache and headaches.

The LP is limited to 100 copies in a hand-numbered jacket, and includes a 20-page photobook with lyrics, and a digital download code.
